Fixed annuities only.
Every product on this page is a fixed insurance product. This agent does not sell variable annuities — that would require a separate FINRA securities registration this agent does not hold.
Fixed Rate Annuity (MYGA)
A declared interest rate is guaranteed for a set number of years, similar in shape to a CD but issued by an insurance carrier and tax-deferred.
Best fit: Savers seeking predictable growth over 3–10 years without market exposure.
Fixed Indexed Annuity (FIA)
Interest credits are tied to the movement of an outside index (like the S&P 500), subject to caps or participation rates. You never lose principal to market drops — the floor is zero.
Best fit: Savers who want upside potential without downside market risk, comfortable with capped returns.
Immediate Annuity (SPIA)
You hand over a lump sum, and income payments start within 12 months — often the next month. It's the simplest way to buy a paycheck.
Best fit: Retirees who need dependable income to start now and want maximum simplicity.
Deferred Income Annuity (DIA)
You fund now, income starts at a future date you pick. Deferring often produces a materially larger paycheck later, especially past age 75.
Best fit: Pre-retirees who want to lock in a future income they can't outlive.

Why variable annuities aren't offered
Variable annuities invest premium in sub-accounts that fluctuate with the market — they are securities and can lose principal. Selling them requires a FINRA securities registration (Series 6 or 7, plus a broker-dealer affiliation). Richard Williams holds a Florida insurance license only. Clients whose situation calls for a variable product are referred elsewhere.
